Chef Carmen Applegath is the owner and executive chef of Amuse Bouche. Graduate of the DuBrulle French Culinary Institute in Vancouver, B.C. with over 20 years experience in the culinary industry as a chef at wide variety of kitchens and venues.
Some of these include the world-renowned Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver and Newport Beach, California, four star destinations like Langara Fishing Lodge, Mike Wiegle Helisking, and The Hart House Restaurant in Vancouver.
Carmen has also taught the art of culinary discipline throughout Vancouver including Vancouver Community College. Her belief is that in order to "nourish the body as well as the soul, one must prepare food with passion and conviction and you will taste the difference”.
